Some say being crafty is to lie. Does it mean it is ok to lie? Or is it that the Truth is lie (right is wrong)? I guess itz worng to lie about the truth in the wrong time in a wrong manner. Does it make sense? Is this the answer? Are there truthful alternatives?
Note: A lie is a statement, believed by the liar to be false, made to another person with the intention that the person be deceived by the statement.

I know where u coming from, but then again, if white lie, which i percieve as "modification" of the truth, does no harm to nobody whatsoever, infact everything is the way it suppose to be, i guess its not that bad as u made it sound like...!

ReplyDeleteI did not make it sound bad.. but asking a question!! and my view on this particular sub. is that though it is wrong to lie be it white or black.. itz not something avoidable..under certain circumstance. and it is I guess ok to lie for a good cause like u said..

ReplyDeleteermmmm, and your supposed to be the curious kinda guy, ermmm, more like stone age :P , i mean wutz wrong in figurin out how a woman's mind work? and the answer for your question, well there isn't an answer for it, not for a question that broad, no principles, rule or social norm could be brought into this,since there are times when your supposed to lie and time when your not supposed to, it all depends on what context your bringing this into......

okayz, i agree that i'm very curious which leads me to analyze actions of everyone around me, call me a prick, arse , whatever, just that i don't analyze people for mockery of others, but i just beleive that for me to understand myself i've gotta to understand others around me, its tough, and its rather cold hearted, but i nvr meant any harm to anyone, with that said, the statement "I guess itz worng to lie about the truth in the wrong time in a wrong manner" means its not right to tell the truth everytime as sometimes, the truth will hurt and you don't want that, and the manner its being told, well , that maybe because some people are sensitive so you've gotta lower the tone of your message to the person, so that you don't hurt them, trust me i don't know how in the world this is supposed to be done, but somehow it does make some sort of sense, well atleast some sense it makes, however little sense the article might have..... this is scary....

ermmm, as much as i hope i have a sixth sense/ or a fairy godfather (well fairy godmother sounds too female like) to help me in knowing when to tell the truth and when to tell a lie, but there isnt, so i guess i've got to relly and the coin toss method, and thank god there is only two sides on a coin :P
ReplyDeleteoh yeah, true you gotta identify your own defects and all, but for you to identify you need a third party opinion (which is the best since they're usually not biased) but you still gotta understand others to understand yourself, cuz you could never see the defect in yourself, unless pointed out, or unless you see it in another person only to realize its wrong.....
anywayz here's an interesting phrase to keep in mind (yeah i stole it from a fren, but heyz it sounds really meaningful)
