Why do you like to put on lipstick, nail polish, perfume.... makeup in general ...you look fine as yourself... is there a reason you need to?
Day by day as it is surrounding and permeating .. crackling lines of flux and flow, receeding and and enveloping down past the bones and through the soul.
Leaving nothing but skull!
As I ask myself.. is this a..I think you know..

Man I feel Like a Women..

So I went shopping with my kin today. It was originally just for a carton of butter milk, but we also needed other "stuff." It turned into a total shopping spree at the hippest of stores: Shoppers Food Warehouse. But they have actually done a good job of re-vamping their image.

For instance, I found a carton of milk to be $3.99 at Safeway and the same for $2.99 @ Shoppers. The shopping was easy. Brother and I knew exactly what we needed and could find it easily. The only draw back was when buying some things... I had to keep telling myself, "They're clean. They're wrapped in boxes and plastic. No need to panic."
I shop like a guy, "I know what I want, just give me five minutes..ermm..or some time to find it.", but show off like a girl; "And these were ON SALE!"

I figured I owe it to Shoppers.
After-all every penny counts!

Hey! Ram

Ram Ram, hey hey Ram Ram, Ram Ram Salaam Hey! Ram Ram
Where there is no longer poverty, there will be no-violence.
Where there is happiness, there a myriad lights will shine.
Darkness will not go, light will not come, it will not bring morning…
(just saying) Ram Ram, hey hey Ram Ram, Ram Ram Salaam Hey! Ram Ram
Who knows when Judgment Day may come?
Who knows when you and I may lose our way?
All that is in your power here is to act,
And the consequences of actions no one can avoid.
O Friends, let our religion be humanity! Friends, Let it be humanity!
Learn from what is past, but think of the present and future.
Those who are gone are truly gone, not even their shadows remain.
Today, O People, light the lamp of love, O People, light the lamp of love!

Ram Ram, hey hey Ram Ram, Ram Ram Salaam Hey! Ram Ram

Watching Hey! Ram, a glimpse of yesterday, from a vantage angle, but a temporary height called today last night, I was struck by the detail and also the way Kamal presented past and present. He changes the cinematography concept of past and present. Where most directors would portray the past in black and white footage, Kamal reverses it. He portrays the present in black and white. I thought that was brilliant. Hey! Ram is an important and must-see film,
a visceral and visionary experiment in mainstream Tamil/Hindi cinema.
Hats off to Dr. Padmashree Kamalhassan.
btw, look out for the English version of this marvelous movie titled Confessions of the Assassin.

I am not superstitious, but as I was watching 12B last night I asked myself; why do we, Hindus break coconut (sitharu kai) in the temple? The known explanation; Breaking your ego is symbolized when breaking the coconut. My explanation; To release the stress from our mind and body before beginning the day.
What is yours?
Learning to look at the lighter side of a problem. I believe in the teachings of Bhagvad Gita - Do your duty, leave the rest to Him. Stronger believer in God, I think laughter brings us closer to God. So take this lightly yet deeply! Humor is the religion today’s man needs. The problem is, however, that this cannot be done without changing the normal interpretation of certain tradition/believe. Break free your natural tendency 'cause it not always right!

Whether you plan to eat healthier, get fitter and trimmer, quit smoking, land that new job or are eager to simply organize that clothes closet ;) ... discover inspiration on how to keep those resolutions you've made work for you in 2006... 'cause these guys have; Some of the new/redesined highlights of the road below in no order:

Vibrant Infiniti: Infiniti by Nissan unleashes the all- new M35, a true harmony of sensuous styling, engaging technology and driving excitement offered in V8-powered M45 and V6-powered M35 versions. Both versions offer a sport package with 19-inch split 5-spoke alloy wheels, sport-tuned suspension, and rear active steering. The M35x features the ATTESA E-TS (Advanced Total Traction Engineering System for All Electronic Torque Split) all-wheel-drive system. Bose Studio Surround Sound System is standard.

The 'off-road' Jeep: A registered trademark of Chrysler Corporation Division, offers the all- new entry in the full-size SUV segment Commander offering: the 335-horsepower 5.7-liter V8 with the Multi-Displacement System, the 235-horsepower 4.7-liter Power Tech V8, and the 3.7-liter SOHC Power Tech V-6 engine.

Lexus: The next-generation Lexus IS challenging both the Infiniti G35 and the BMW 330i comes out later this year with 3.5-liter V6, the new sport sedan will have more than 300 horsepower, a 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters will be standard has no Stick shift :( booo !

Volkswagen: VW the owner of Audi, Bentley Motors and Bugatti brings in the next-generation Passat, longer & wider, 3.6-liter narrow-angle V6 that produces an impressive 280 horsepower, teamed with a six-speed Tiptronic the 3.6 will spawn an all-wheel-drive Passat 4Motion. Also expect the “new" New Beetle.

Bavarian Motor Works : 3-Series debuts with an all-new design that blends 3-Series character with new styling elements from the 7-Series and the 5-Series, offers a nearly ideal blend of sportiness, luxury, and safety. The redesigned sedan should have agile handling and smooth 3.0-liter engines powered by a 255-horsepower, 220 lb-ft of torque. Also expected to arrive stateside this fall is the 500-horsepower M5 sport sedan, followed shortly thereafter by its M6 sibling.

Honda: The first Japanese manufacturer to produce cars in the U.S brings out their eighth-generation model CIVIC with all - new fancy look. One of the best small sedans, great fuel economy 1.8-liter single overhead cam 4 cylinder with a new generation of i -VTEC. Horsepower is 140, up 10 to 21 percent from the 2005 Civic engines, while maximum torque now is 128 lb-ft at 4300 rpm, up 12 to 16 percent from the predecessor Civics.
The Civic Si, which comes only with a 6-speed manual and no automatic offers 2.0-liter double overhead cam 4 cylinder with i -VTEC is the most powerful ever for Civic. It generates 197 horses, up 23 percent from the 2005 Civic Si. Torque peaks at 139 lb-ft at 6200 rpm, which is up only 5 percent from its predecessor.

To sum it up what makes 2006 different is the sheer number of all-new performance, or "tuner" versions, coming from some of my favourite models.

Also check out these concept cars:

"Janarthanan" Lord Krishnas' name you have;
Jana means in greek, two; Jana also mean in Sanskrit, "one who enjoys in a body."
Soul/body dualism is thus hinted at in your name,
Likewise you're more than a brother-in-law to me
That word doesn't describe the man I see.
You make the "in-law" part drop away;
For you, brother is a better word to say.
A brother-in-law any man can be,
But your value to our family means much more to me/us.

Happy Birthday ^_^

Joke of the week

| Monday, September 12, 2005
Explore..
A thermodynamics professor had written a take home exam for his graduate students. It had one question: "Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or endothermic (absorbs heat)? Support your answer with a proof."

Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law (gas cools off when it expands and heats up when it is compressed) or some variant.

One student, however, wrote the following:

"First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time. So, we need to know the rate that souls are moving into Hell and the rate they are leaving. I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to Hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving. As for how many souls are entering Hell, let's look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Some of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to Hell. Since there are more than one of these religions and since people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all people and all souls go to Hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in Hell to increase exponentially. Now, we look at the rate of change of the volume in Hell because Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in Hell to stay the same, the volume of Hell has to expand as souls are added.

This gives two possibilities:

1. If Hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter Hell, then the temperature and pressure in Hell will increase until all Hell breaks loose.

2. Of course, if Hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in Hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until Hell freezes over.

So which is it? If we accept the postulate given to me by Ms. Therese Banyan during my Freshman year, 'That it will be a cold night in Hell before I sleep with you,' and take into account the fact that I still have not succeeded in having sexual relations with her, then 2 cannot be true, and so Hell is exothermic."

This student got the only A.

Why Worry?

There are only two things in life to worry about: Whether you are well or whether you are sick. If you are well, then there is nothing to worry about.

But if you are sick, there are only two things to worry about: Whether you are going to get well or whether you are going to die. If you get well, then there is nothing to worry about.

But if you die, there are only two things to worry about: Whether you are going to go to heaven or whether you are going to go to hell. If you go to heaven, then you have nothing to worry about.

But if you go to hell, you'll be so busy shaking hands with all your friends, that you won't have time to worry! So, Why Worry?

Be Happy.

Aalavanthan

Ananthu, was he a born psychopath or a normal child turned into a sociopathic individual? Why and how did his brother turn out differently?

The one line story of Aalavanthan in my terms. Aiming carefully to throw light in to the human aspect of a psychopath and illustrating how psychopaths are made.

Ananthu made- thought that his family legacy was one of negation, the nullification of self. He suffered in his own way turning it outward to negate others as a way to eventually negate himself: Cleary explained by the doctor in the first opening scenes is the key to the movie!

His first (Old guy from the asylum) murder appeared to be without motive. First, one has to understand, Ananthu is a victim of violence/torture and worst, feels powerless to avoid it. Then he is taught by the so-called asylum on how and when to become violent and to profit from it.

"Intelligent," "Alert," "Impressive," "Confidence-inspiring," and "A great success with the ladies": These are the sorts of descriptions repeatedly used by Kamalhassan to describe the life/ dream of psychopath Ananthu. Of course "irresponsible," "self-destructive," and the like also adds credit.

Ananthus' lack of "soul quality" makes him very efficient "machine." Brilliant, able to write scholarly works, imitate the words of emotion, but over time, it becomes clear that his words do not match his actions.

He is the type of person who can claim that he is devastated by grief who then attend a party, Africa Kaatukule "to forget."

Overall I think this is a very genuine effort by the one and only AALAVANTHAN, Padmashri Dr. Kamalhassan in exploring the philosophy of a psychopaths mind set.

Though the movie has brilliant scenes, script, story, music and acting. It is way too quickly executed that it's difficult for a common man, likeable of Ghili to understand.

Plus:
Kamal, remarkable job as the rampant psychopath Ananthu.
Usage of 2 D animation
Graphics

Cons:
Kamalhassan's lost and confused towards the end screenplay

Did you know? - On any given day, an average of 38,000 units of red blood cells are needed in USofA! Well I came to know about it today as the nurse who drew mine told me. Wait a sec, before you let your mind travel.. I had to give samples of my blood for evaluationn..Yeahh the routine physical check up. I guess it is good for me.. ; Anyway a two line poem as I was feeling my blood in the sample tube, warm, dark and thick..

I'm wild, I am burning, I have always been wild notions.
