I have just returned from a cruise – I hope you didn’t miss me too much. The cruise in question was a 1-day trip to NY from B'more.
I have to confess that cruise trips have never appealed to me greatly, not least because it sounds so middle aged! The other problem, of course, is that cruises are so darned expensive, but this problem was allayed by my employer scoring me a remarkable deal, so I was out of excuses. Hence, I gave it a go!
The ship is huge. I knew that cruise ships were huge, but until you actually get right up to one you really don’t appreciate just how huge they are. I mean, it was massive! Not so much a floating hotel as a floating city. And actually I had a pretty good time. I will be posting pics and more detailed post soon :)

I do not watch much TV, news especially, simply because it nothing but biased propaganda, a joke, and all they care about is the ratings! I get 90% of my news from the internet, as do a hell of a lot of other liberal people. TV news was supposed to be about, the news is supposed to inform you on important issues so you can make an informed decision. But it is never the case these days.
But anyway, in recent times I watch it when I am at work as that is part of my working environment. Since then I happen to watch at home when it’s raining, maybe when I’m sick, or for a few select sporting events. And when and if I watch, it is only the Morning Express on CNN, why? Well, Robin Meade is very pretty (al though at times she puts on way too much make up) and that seems to be the point. Her delivery is odd and unnerving, with stresses and pauses in weird and inappropriate places, and the content is … lacking. I suppose Robin just reads off the teleprompter, though ― she seems completely unfamiliar with everything she reports, even the second or third time around ― so it must be somebody else’s fault. In any case she has style. Watch her when you get some time.. remember not for the news ;)
Oh FYI - I know there are much prettier and hotter women… but they are not from here like Mélissa Theuriau for exapmple. But, she is worth a whole new post, so look out for her soon ;)

"Great leaders are not born. They are made—to a large extent, self-made.."-Marshall Goldsmith
"Great leaders are not born. They are made—to a large extent, self-made.."-Marshall GoldsmithThe above quote makes a lot of sense to me now. Not to blow my own trumpet, but I seem to be getting some good attention these days. My productivity stream is looking brighter than yesterdays. The networking I've been trying my hand at for a while seems to be falling in place. I am getting things done my way and in the right way. I am happy!! Je le sais, je le pense, aussi j'y crois un peu plus que toi Jegan!
I was invited to a lunch meeting day before yesterday by my parent company's president Mr. Rick Learner.I must say I felt very much appreciated and valued around him. A good client of mine had arranged for the lunch meet. He wanted to treat me for my efforts in helping him maintain a good financial standpoint. As a thank you note he treated me and invited Rick too. I must say I was very surprised at some of the extra good comments I heard him say about me to Rick. No, I don't mean I don't deserve it, it is just that I don't recall doing anything that deserved appreciation to that extend. I mean I did my job sincerely and as always tried to go the extra mile but still kept it within my range. Anyway It was a very good day, lunch!!! Thanks to Joe Giordano!
