Love is that "perfect" thing, which, as it grows in our life, replaces our need for and concern with the gifts of the Spirit. You do not have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince or princess! Find someone you want to meet, and who wants to meet you. As you do not want waste time looking for the perfect lover, instead of creating the perfect love.
Am I a secret that you keep? Some day you just keep pretending..
Tell ME!
Am I a shadow on your wall, am I anything at all anything to you..
Tell ME!
'Cause you do not want to say:
"Looking back, I have this to regret, that too often when I loved, I did not say so."
ermmm, finally someone brought in the topic of love, knew it wouldnt be far off. but anywayz while whatever you said it noble and how love is supposed to be, tell me how many people ask themselves this question "Is it better for me to go for someone i love or for someone that loves me?" cuz the chances for meeting someone you like and someone who likes you is very rare, i mean its not impossible but its a long process of trying again and again till you find the right one, and even then, if you do happen to lose her, it aint over, cuz the idea of there being just the girl for you somewhere out there is ridiculous, i mean if that were so, most ppl have very limited choices, and that aint good, and about the perfect love, i mean it does sound touchy and oh so full of emotions but, love in my opinion is just an exaggeration of either lust or a likeness towards someone, i am very sure i am going to get some flak over for the lust part, but it is true, and sometimes lust can evolve into really liking a person. with that said, i can only say that idea of love is an exageration, but for those who believe in it and have succeded, congratulations to them, but i make my stand on this topic.... :P
ReplyDeleteYou were born because of love, you exist because of love, you are forgiven because of love, and you will be in eternity because of love. Love is not learned, it is felt, it is carried within. Think about it. Get some peace!
ReplyDeletewell true, though i have no intention of disgracing that love, its because of the emotional attachment, and i was basically reffering to in terms of love towards a partner in life, i mean it does make sense, you can just say you love a person, what knowing them for either 3 days, weeks, months or years, you still could never really know a person, it takes more than a lifetime, something most of us don't have, i mean there are plenty of lovers who take the plunge into marriage, and not many last, i'm not sayin i'm against love marriage and all, but the fact that people cherish the word soo much, even without realising that its either their lust or their immense likeness to a person is what that causes them to have 'butterflies' in their stomach, okayz, as much as it might appear that i've failed in my part to stand up to what i've said, i meant it in the context of life partners alone........... should've been a little more clearer, but thanks for bringing it up.... :P , p.s. peace is achieved when you truly understand yourself and work for perfection (though since we're all human beings, therefore perfection does not exist, so you can only hope to go as close to perfection as possible, ahhhh, satisfaction with imperfection, rather weird huh?)
ReplyDeleteLike how the truth is we cannot make God feel anything. God loves us not because of anything we did, are doing or will do, but because he/she does. Such is love! It is felt, 'cause thatz the truth.
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to see things as they are!
ReplyDeletewell sad to break the news to you this way, but i nvr were a religious person, consider myself more inclined to be an atheist than anything else, and for several reasons at that, ermmm, but to make things simple, humans are imperfect, which is something no one can argue around, and how can we as human beings whom realize that perfection is just a theory, something no one can achieve could actually beleive in god ( the all so perfect/living immortal/who couldnt not be conquered by anyone except for the love of his devotee / etc etc etc) i mean do you get where i am going here.......but anywayz, no offense though, nvr meant to hurt beliefs of others nor to subject my opinions on others... :P
ReplyDeleteReligion is often considered controversial. For fear of offending others, most avoid
ReplyDeletediscussing it. I am however impressed by you drawing your thoughts together here.
The simplest answer is: Religion is a person's beliefs. Beliefs are a very personal thing. Whatever you believe, always remember to strive to be the best that you can be.
Set an example through your good actions. As I believe that is the way to reach your inner soul( “soul” an immaterial part of you that will go on living after you die.)/GOD.
