Spark of Love

Yes! I am aware now; having/raising a puppy is like having a 1-2 year-old. Until they are trained, they require pretty much constant supervision. After they are trained, they still require supervision until they are older. But then I believe life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, spicy dosa in the other, body used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOOOOHOO WHAT A RIDE!!!

Thus I am here today! My pups as you guys know were adopted from The Fallston Animal Rescue Movement Inc. Which was begun by Greg and Barbara Bertling to find homes for some of the wonderful, loving pets abandoned, lost or given up and scheduled for euthanasia at area shelters. Thus, FARM means the difference between life and death for the pets rescued by its volunteers.

Providing food, shelter, medical care, behavioral evaluation and affection from volunteers, they take great care to find responsible, loving, permanent homes for each pet they save. The FARM, will you help, has rescued and placed over 3,000 dogs and cats since its beginning in October, 2000.While the adoption donations typically cover the vet costs for the 'average' rescue dog, there are always extra expenses associated with dogs that require special care or surgery.

Through your generosity, provides a new unwrapped toy or treats to a puppy. FARM works in concert - not in competition - with other charitable Organization to fulfill the dreams of needy dogs. Please send checks made payable to THE FARM and mail it to my attention if you care.

NOTE: it could be as little as $5.00 and remember it is tax deductible :)
