Wannabe

How overly unrealistically romantic can you be? It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't terribly good either. Orlando bloom was good when he wasn't narrating; he really needs to take lessons from Colin Ferrel to mask his accent. Kirsten Dunst was sickening. Seriously the stupid one liners Kristen Dunst's character had ..no one talks that way. And when did she have time to do that entire "map", and where did she get all those damn pics. Every time she opened her mouth I wanted to cut myself. I started out liking the movie only a little, enjoying it quite a bit by the middle, and then quickly liking it less and less as it neared the end. The entire last part (after the funeral) was wholly unnecessary and boring, and served only to drag the movie out to an uninspired and cliche conclusion. If the movie had ended right after the funeral I'd give it a much higher score. I can't even imagine the 30 minute longer "director's cut". The movie has a nice logical progression to it, so that we are bored by redundant flashbacks and useless clutter.
